Kathleen Miller is an associate attorney who has specialized in litigation since she began her legal career.  She is committed to the defense of physicians, hospitals and other medical professionals in medical malpractice and negligence actions.  Prior to joining the firm, Kathleen handled all aspects of litigation from inception through trial, which includes counseling clients, drafting pleadings and motions, performing oral arguments, and achieving favorable negotiations and settlements for her clients. Most of Kathleen’s career has focused on the handling of medical malpractice, insurance coverage, and general liability maters.  She also represented indigent defendants as a staff attorney at Suffolk County Legal Aid Society as well as litigants in hotly contested family court and divorce matters.  Kathleen has been selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star for the New York Metro area from 2020 through 2023 in the areas of medical malpractice and insurance defense. Prior to attending law school, Kathleen was a tenured elementary school teacher and retail furniture store owner.  Much of her success in each of her career paths can be attributed to her ability to carefully consider people’s needs and work diligently and competently to serve them. Kathleen is a member of the New York State Bar.
