Defense Verdict In Nassau OB/GYN Case

In Nassau County, June 2025, Michael Morris successfully defended an obstetrician/gynecologist. Plaintiff’s counsel claimed several departures from accepted medical practice based on performance of a supracervical hysterectomy resulting in post operative complications including unwanted bleeding requiring a blood transfusion, sepsis, blood clots and retained uterine tissue. The case was defended with an expert in obstetrics and gynecology and the jury returned a verdict in favor of our client Ob/Gyn regarding all claims of medical malpractice.
