Douglas S. Chau is an associate who focuses his practice on defending physicians, hospitals, and other medical professionals in medical malpractice actions. Prior to joining Garson & Jakub, Doug served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. In that capacity, he handled all aspects of litigation from inception through plea disposition and/or trial. His responsibility for handling over one hundred and thirty cases at any given time provided him with a wealth of courtroom and case management experience. He received his J.D. degree from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.A. from St. John’s University. Doug is a member of the New York State Bar.
